STRUCK BY EXPRESS
ELDERLY MAN’S DEATH PALMERSTON FATALITY (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Mr. William Jones, aged 71, died from injuries he received as a pedestrian when he was struck by the express train crossing in the square yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Jones, who waited for one train to pass, apparently did not see the other approaching on a parallel set of rails.
