APPEALS LODGED
TRAINER AND JOCKEY DISQUALIFICATION CASE (Reed. Mar. 8, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Mar. 7. The trainer of Dashing Cavalier, J. McCurley, and the jockey, J. Coutts, have lodged appeals against a disqualification of 12 months imposed by the stipendiary stewards of the Victorian Racing Club for alleged .dishonourable action and improper practice in connection with the running of Dashing Cavalier in the Flemington Handicap.
