_ (Humid Correspondent.) The weekly progressive fivehundred tournament drew a good attendance on Thursday evening and a pleasant time was spent. Mrs. Cooze and Mr. Hoikell won prizes for the best cards, while Miss Jean French and Mr. K. Muir also were successful. The evening’s competition was won by Mrs. Meikell. Messrs. O’Donnell ahd Mulligan acted as the supervisors. Those present included Mesdames Feasey, Hills. Fouhy, French, Muir, Breingan, Tec, La Hood, Hewson, Matonga, Cooze, Heikell, Smith, Tnipiha, and Pohatu; Misses J. French, C. Kara, E. Elian and Wyllie. Mr. and Mrs, Richards and family, Tikiwhata, arrived at Bartletts on Friday and will make their homo there,
