AUSTRALIAN SHARES FEWER TRANSACTIONS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) SYDNEY. Feb. 20. There was only a moderate volume of business on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day. Values were generally steady. Sales included:—Bank of New South Wales, £26 6s; Goldsbrough Mort, 255; A.C.1., 395; Bonds Industries, 235; Electrolytic Zinc, 50s 9d; Felt and Textiles, 37s 9d; William Adams, 14s 7d; Woolworths (N.Z.), 13s 2d; ditto (Syd.), 17s 9d; New Broken Hill Consolidated, 13s; Rawang Tin. 8s 4d. Melbourne sales included:—National Bank A’asia (£lO paid), £l2 2s; Broken Hill Pty. (rights), 17s Gd; Myers Emporium, 30s; Woolworths (Syd.), 17s: Mount Morgan, 10s 7d. MASTERTON RAM FAIR TOP PRICE 50GNS (Pur Press Associntton.) MASTERTON, this day. At the Masterton ram fair yesterday the best prices obtained were 50gns. for a Hock Southdown bred by Mr. G. S. McLeod, Martinborough, paid by the estate of Mr. W. H. Buick. Mr. Rupert Reid bought a flock Southdown from Mr. Norman McLachlan, Masterton. for 30gns.
