OUTPUT MAY BY 18,000 OVERTAKING LAG (Reed. Feb. 21, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 20. Mr. W. S. Knudsen, production executive of the Defence Advisory Commission, stated that the industry was catching up on the warplane schedule and it permitted the hope that production in 1941 would total 18,000 machines.
