KOPUAWHARA FAREWELL

(Horald Correspondent.;

The dainty morning tea given by Mrs. A. S. Judd at her home in Kopuawhara enabled a number of friends to bid farewell to Mrs. E. Hunter before her departure from the district.

Bowls of mixed flowers were used with artistic effect in the decoration of the drawing-room, which was delightfully cool in the bright sunshine. The hostess was wearing a charming morning frock of floral fergotex, while the guest of honour looked smart in a striped silk 'frock. During an interval good wishes were extended to Mrs. Hunter,'to which she suitably replied. -

Those present included Mesdames T. Frater, B. Brien, G. Powell, J. Elliot, C. Tamm, and L. Anderson.
