FOOD SALES HALVED
SOVIET PRECAUTION INVOLVEMENT in war (Reed. Dec. 16, 9 a.m.) MOSCOW, Dec. 15. The sales of certain foodstuffs have been restricted lo one half. This is reported not to be due to scarcity but to precaution against the possibility of Russia being drawn into the war.
