CHRISTCHURCH PILOT A Christchurch boy, Flying-Officer N. McClelland, son of Mr. T. W. McClelland, has been promoted flightlieutenant and detailed to take charge of the navigation and fleet air arm department of the central examination board for training command, headquarters, Shinficld Park, England. Flight-Lieutenant McClelland gained his first-class navigator’s certificate and becomes a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society. He was educated at tile Christchurch Boys’ High School and Canterbury University College.
