TOKOMARU BAY CLUB (If era 1 d Correspond en 1.) An enjoyable time was spent at the Te Puka Hall, Tokomaru Bay, last week when the Tokomaru Bay Badminton Club held its. final evening for the season. Mr. J. Alexander, thetpresident of the club, remarked on the successful season. In welcoming the visitors, he asked them to seriously consider joining the club when the new season commenced. He specially congratulated Mrs. J. Rogers and Mrs. J. Alexander for upholding the club’s colours in the East Coast tournament. Club Championship winners for the season were: —Men’s Singles—J. Alexander. Men’s Doubles—J. Alexander and J. Conole. Ladies’ Singles—Mrs. J. Rogers. Ladies’ Doubles —Mrs. J. Rogers and Mrs. M. Pardoe. Combined Doubles—J. Alexander and Mrs. Alexander. A miniature cup, donated by Second Lieutenant S. Lyle Smythe. to the most progressive player, was awarded to Mrs. J. Rogers. A refreshing supper was served by the ladies.
