P.B. SOCIETY MEETS REPORTS FROM NURSES Reporting to the monthly meeting of the Plunket Society yesterday, the nursing staff gave an outline of the scope of the work done since the Sep.ember meeting For the month, visits of mothers and babies to the Plunket rooms totalled' 487, the number of babies being 444. In addition, 35 children were seen by the nurses at the rooms, and 179 visits were paid to homes in which Plunket. babies were being reared. Country work comprised mainly visits to the homes of babies, these including 20 at Manutuke, two at Muriwai, and 61 at Waipaoa. At Te Karaka, 52 babies were seen at the office, and in the Coast area there were 34 visits at Tolaga Bay, nine at Mangatuna, and 51 at Tokomaru Bay. The reports were considered most satisfactory. Those present at the meeting were Mesdames J. Blair, chairman* E. L. Adams, I. F. Puflett, T. J. Caesar, J. L. Fogden, I. D. Bramwell, G. C. Jones, J. O. Musgrave, G. Robertson, G Nolan A. M. Welham, and D. E. Clirisp, and Miss D. Bagnali. hon. secretary.
