BUILT AIR RAID SHELTER

ADELAIDE, Oct. 1. Without cement, and at a cost of £3, a G5-year-olcl Adelaide man has built an air-raid shelter under his house. He excavated a hole 6ft. deep, 10ft. long, and 3ft. wide, lined it with galvanised iron, and bricked the floor. The floor of the house is the roof of the shelter, which has two trapdoors, one leading into the house, and one into the garden.
