(Hcralil Correspondent.) Rain, fell on 21 days in August, the heaviest fall* 3.23 in.. occurring on August 8. The total for the month was 10.80 in.. 7.15 in. of which fell from August 8 to 12. The hill country schools expect a large attendance at the sports to be held in Matawai on Saturday.
