MANUAL TRAINING

FACILITIES IN WAIROA (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. The need for the provision of facilities at the Wairoa District High School for manual training was the subject of discussion at a meeting of the committee of the Wairoa Parents’ League, when it was decided to suggest to the Hawke’s Bay Education Board that possibly a limited amount of technical training could be given in temporary premises until such time as proper accommodation could be provided. A letter was received from the Education Board stating that it was hoped to introduce a manual training course at the beginning of next year.
