PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT VIEW OF MR. M°NUTT (Reed. June 1, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, May 31. Mr. P. V. McNutt, the* Governor of Indiana, in a formal statement, cast aside his own Presidential ambition and called on the nation to forget tradition and draft Mr. Roosevelt for a third term. Mr. McNutt said: “In his leadership lies the best hope of peace. It is my sincere wish that he should accept nomination.”
