AFFECTED BY GAS
TWO MEN IN HOSPITAL (Ter Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. Two men, Messrs. N. McLean and A. Managh, were admitted to hospital yesterday suffering from the effects of carbon monoxide gas, which they inhaled while cleaning the purifier at the gas works. Five others were treated as out-patients. A leaky valve was the cause of (he trouble. Mr. Managh’s condition is reported to be fair, while Mr. McLean has slightly improved.
