KING’S BIRTHDAY OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Education Department has made the following announcement with the authority of the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason. “In view of the Order-in-Council postponing the holiday on June 3, the King’s Birthday, all Government schools, primary, secondary, technical and native, will remain open on that day.”
