BRITAIN AND GERMANY U.S. REFUGEE SHIP (Reed. May 28, 2.50 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 27. Britain and Germany have assured the State Department that they have advised their respective navies concerning the American refugee ship President Roosevelt, and had pledged extreme vigilance to safeguard it.
