WAIROA RECRUITS

SERVICE OVERSEAS 30 FOR EXAMINATION (Special to the Herald.) . WAIROA, this day. The list ol recruits from the Wairoa district for service overseas with the New Zealand. Expeditionary Force continues to grow steadily, although, it is stated, the volume of men coming forward has not been quite so heavy lately as was previously the case.; However. Wairoa has responded well to the call to the colours. From details available so far over 30 men from this, district will, appear before the medical board when next it sits in Wairoa. This will probably be on Saturday, Jurie 8, but that date is only tentative in the meantime. ;V:

Of the men who have been called up for examination 26 are new recruits, while five are men who enlisted some time ago and were not able to appear before the board when last it sat.
