REMARKABLE GOLF

At the, Wellington Rotary Club’s luncheon this week iff was mentioned that a member, Mr. Haskell Anderson had put up a remarkable score in a Rotary golf match recently on the Miramar links. Though a 16 handicap player, Mr. Anderson scored a hole in one, one eagle, two birdies, and two bogies. That for a par man would be remarkable; for a 16-handi-cap golfer it was phenomenal. Mr. Anderson, who was not present at the luncheon, received several awards for his prowess, and was ordered to consult the guardian of the sunshine box concerning a fine for achieving such distinction.
