STAYING IN COUNTRY MORE MEN CALLED UP (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2.50 p.m. RUGBY, May 22. It is stated by the Belgian Embassy in London that contrary to the news published by German sources, the Belgian Government is in Belgium and remains in close touch with King Leopold and the army. Individual Ministers have gone to France where they are taking immediate measures necessitated by the arrival of refugees and are calling to the colours all Belgian men between 17 and 35 who have not already been mibilised.
