(Herald Correspondent.) Miss June Fouhy has returned to Gisborne after spending a holiday with her parents.—Mrs. E. Borst and family are spending a few days in Gisborne.—Miss Fat. Ching, who has been spending the school vacation with her parents at Bartletts, has returned to Gisborne.—Miss Pauline Bell has returned to Marsden School, Wellington.—Mrs. Le Quesne is visiting her sister in Tauranga.—Constable A. Andrew is on annual leave. Mr. A. B. Feasey has been selected for a home defence unit and has left for Wellington, where he will join the Mt.. Victoria anti-aircraft group. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Feasey, Bartletts. While playing on a see-saw at Bartletts, Verna Ellis fell and had tho misfortune to break her arm and is now an inmate of the Cook Hospital.
