WAR CABINET URGED

BRITISH LEAD TO N.Z. FARMERS* ADVOCACY (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. The need for a united effort in the war was stressed by Mr. Hugh Morrison, provincial president of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, in his opening address at the annual interprovincial conference held at Wanganui to-day. He urged that all political differences should be dropped, but a lead was wanted. He considered that New Zealand should follow the example of Britain and appoint a War Cabinet that would represent all sections of the community. ‘‘We do not care who are in that Cabinet, but we want the right man in the right place,” he said.
