SWITZERLAND BOMBED

DAMAGE TO RAILWAY

MOBILISATION ORDERED (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. May 11. 11 a.m.) ‘ BERNE, May 10. It is officially stated that foreign planes bombed the railway between Delemont and Montier, about 20 miles south-west .of Basle. The railway was damaged but traffic is continuing. Other foreign planes flew over Switzerland. A German bomber dropped 17 bombs while 20 German and a number of French planes engaged in a battle near Delemont. Swiss anti-aircraft guns came into action and drove off a German bomber from a big aerodrome near Zurich. The Government has ordered a general mobilisation.
