RECIPROCITY IN TRAD& BRITAIN AND FRANCE CLOSE COLLABORATION (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 12.,10 p.m. RUGBY. March 1. Quietly, unobtrusively, but continuously, measures are being worked out between ’the organs of government and administration in Britain and France and put into operation which give effect to the agreements reached in the early days of the war between the two Governments for closer collaboration. It was announced on Tuesday that the Board of Trade had arranged for a substantial relaxation of the restrictions on imports from France. It was stated to-day that, to permit the greatest possible freedom for payments arising out of the French and British commercial transactions, new regulations had been introduced by .'the French exchange control facilitating British imports. In addition the restrictions on the granting of credits will be relaxed in both markets.
