HAMPERED BY RAIN
WEST COAST FARMERS While the Gisborne district has been suffering recently from the lack of rain, there lias been too much on the West Coast of the South Island. Farming operations on the West Coast have suffered a severe setback in the last six weeks because of the exceptionally ba_d weather. Several farmers have been unable to finish their haymaking and many have not yet had an opportunity lo sow their turnips and rape.
