MORE RADIO LICENSES
Radio l'ccmes in force in New Zealand at the end of last month numbered 316,948, compared with 298,330 at the corresponding time a year ago. This represents an increase during the year of 18,518. There were 814.G46 receivers, the number of which had increased by 19,548 over the year. In the same period 109 fewer dealers sought licenses. There were 1084 dealers, as against 1193 at the end of January last year. Free licenses were issued to 1195 persons, whereas the number last year was 954
