PRESS OF FRANCE CENSORSHIP SYSTEM (Reed. Feb. 29, 9 a.m.) PARIS, Feb. 27. The French Chamber of Deputies passed a vote of confidence in the Government by 450 votes to one at the conclusion of the censorship debate. The Premier, M. Daladier, announced that he had ordered the chief censor henceforth to allow the press entire freedom of political opinion. The censorship would be confined to questions of national defence and foreign policy. M. Daladier gave an assurance that improvements in the censorship system would be carried out where practicable.
