GERMANS OVERJOYED

RESCUE BY TRAWLER SUNKEN BOMBER’S CREW (Reed. Feb. 29. 9 a.m.) LONDON. Feb. 28. A trawler picked up and landed at a Scottish port four members of the crew of a Heinkel bomber which was shot down off Scotland. The rescued men, one of whom was wounded, were overjoyed and repeatedly shook hands with the trawler’s crew. One declared: “The war is no good. Only one man in Germany is allowed to open his mouth.” Another cheerfully assisted in stoking while the vessej, was making for port.
