The latter collided with the rail at the turn and received a cut on the near hind leg. Veterinary attention was necessary, but the effect will not be known for a day or two. Rex Felt and Graceful Mover disappointed. Graceful Mover’s connections are considering scratching him for the Newmarket Handicap. Birdplay defeated a moderate field in the Newbury Plate. N. Percival will ride Fort Haven in the Newmarket Handicap. Celeris was a trifle sore after the Newmarket Trial and may miss the big race on Saturday.
