A very enjoyable day's bowling was experienced on the Tokomaru Bay green at the week-end, when an allday progressive pairs tournament was heid. In the skips’ section A. L. Walker won outright with 3i wins, and in the leads’ section I. Beattie, F. Ranslev and A. Forrester finished level with three wins each. In the play-off Beattie, 7, defeated F. Ransiey 0: A. Forrester, 5, defeated Beattie, 1, in the final.
