WIFE’S AGE MISSTATED TERM OF PROBATION (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. ' “You have been rather silly ovet this, but no harm has been done,” said the Chief Justice. Sir Michael Myers, to a young man, aged 2(1, in a Royal New Zealand Air Force uniform, who had admitted making a false declaration under the Marriage Act relating to the age of the young woman to whom he was married. Sir Michael Myers said the prisoner was of good character, and the offence was not of the kind that should prevent his serving his country. The prisoner was ordered to be released on six months’ probation and to pay the costs of the prosecution. His Honour ordered the prisoner’s name be not published.
