Insurance of Board Members

A decision to take out personal accident insurance policies to cover members while engaged on the board’s business was made at a meeting of the Taupiri Drainage and River Board. Under the Statutes Amendment Act. 1939, county councils and drainage and river boards are allowed to take out policies to cover members.
