On a charge of keeping his shop open on Sunday for the purpose of selling goods Joseph Dodds, Wainui road, appeared before Messrs. F. J. B. Ellisdon and T. Corson, J.P's., in the Police Court this morning and was convicted and fined 10s, with costs 10s. The prosecution was conducted by Senior-Sergeant J. F, H Macnamara, who said that the police had had several complaints about Sunday trading.
