Casey, the first Australian Minister appointed to the United States, who is a through passenger by the Monterey, referring to Major-General < B. C. Freyberg, officer commanding the New Zealand forces overseas. Mr. Casey travelled by air from England in December with MajorGeneral Freyberg and the Hon P. Fraser. Mr. Casey is accompanied by his wife.
