SPEARED TO DEATH
NEW GUINEA OFFICER COMPANION WOUNDED (Reed. Feb. 5, 2.20 p.m.) BRISBANE, Feb. 5. Advice has been received that Patrol Officer G. O’Donnell was speared to death and another officer injured when a patrol, was attacked by natives on the Rye coast in the Madang area, New Guinea.
