WELL PATRONISED
WAIROA MOTOR CAMP VISITORS FROM OVERSEAS FAVOURABLE COMMENT (Hpuciftl to tho Herald.) WAlftOA, this day. Although no figures are available, it is thought that the number of people taking advantage of the facilities offered tit Wairoa’s motor camp during the Christmas and New Year holiday period just concluded will exceed those of last year. It was stated by an official of the Wairoa Borough Council to-day that the ground had been exceptionally well patronised and that everyone appeared to have been satisfied with the facilities offering. In the opinion of some the setting" and the lay-out of the ground made it one of the most delightful to be found in New Zealand, and several expressed the hope that they would be able to come back again next year. Included in those visiting the camp were visitors from Auckland to the Bluff, and overseas countries, including England, were also represented. The cleanliness of the ground, it was stated, was the subject of much favourable comment, and the fact that hot water had been laid on proved to be a boon to the campers.
