SWIMMING CARNIVAL
GISBORNE CLUB EVENTS CHAMPIONSHIP RACES The second carnival to be held in the season of the Gisborne Amateur Surf and Swimming Club will take place on Monday, January 15. Entries for the following events will close next Thursday with Mr. C. E. Brown. The programme is as follows: —50 yds men’s senior championship; 150 yds handicap for the Charles Adair Memorial Cup; 50yds open handicap: 50yds intermediate boys’ championship: 50yds schoolboys’ championship; 66 2-3vds schoolboys’ handicap, second distance for the Lockie Cup; 50yds schoolgirls’ championship: 100yds intermediate girls’ championship: 50yds women’s championship; 66 2-3yds women’s handicap, final distance for the Gordon Cup; open dive; ribbon dive; 100yds relay for club stars; water polo.
