RAKAUROA NEWS

ENJOYABLE TENNIS PARTY

(Herald Correspondent.)

Last week-end a very enjoyable tennis party was given at the home oi Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Beaufoy. The weather was ideal and some exciting games were played. After the games all enjoyed a swim at the falls.

Among those present were Mcsdames T. A. Hedpatb. S. V. Beaufoy; Mr. and Mrs. V. Tail. Mr. and Mrs. I*'. G. Fielder, Mr. and Mrs R. C. Beaufoy; Misses A. Korte, FI. Redpath, 1.5. Tembleson, 13. Davenport, K. Shaw, J. Graham, B. and J. Beaufoy, L„ K., M„ and V. Beaufoy; Messrs. F- McLean, R. Shaw, G. and 11. Korte.

Mrs. F. G. Fielder and Mastcn Bevan Fielder left on Wednesday to visit the Centenary Exhibition.- —Miss J. Graham has been visiting her aunt, Mrs. W. C. Shaw.—Miss J. Beaufoy, Gisborne. was a recent visitor to the district—Mrs.. S. V. Beaufoy and family are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Beaufoy.

Mr. and Mrs. T. Grace and their small daughter, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 11. Richardson, have returned to Mercer. Mr. P. Grace is spending a holiday with his mother and will return to Mercer to-day.
