PLUNKET SHIELD MATCH AUCKLAND BEATS OTAGO (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The Plunket Shield cricket match between Auckland and Otago was concluded yesterday afternoon, the home side winning by an innings and 169 runs. Otago scored 194 and 133 against Auckland’s 496. The Otago batsmen again snaped poorly. Cowie was the miff successful bowler, taking six wickets for 44 runs.
