WAR RELIEF COSTS
AMERICAN RED CROSS FINLAND AND ALLIES (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn. > (Reed. Jan. 3, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 1. The American Red Cross has spent €214,720 on war relief since the outbreak of the war, and of this sum over £34,500 has been spent durlhg the past 10 days for Finland. # Approximately £75,000 has been spent on 250,000 articles of clothing and over 1,000,000 surgical dressings. Cash expenditure included Polish relief of over £76,750, Great Britain £6250, and France £3250. The Russian and German Red Cross have not requested assistance.
