BIG SHOW ENTRY

SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE SHEEP FROM OUTSIDE Following the last-day rush on Saturday, the entries for the Poverty Bay A. and P. Show, which is to be held on November 7 and 8, are well ahead of those at the corresponding period last year. The final position will not be available for a few days yet, for entries in the post must be awaited, but. on Saturday night, when a progress total was made out by the secretary, Mr. W. E. Chamberlain, the figures were several hundreds ahead of that on the corresponding day a year ago.

A feature is the receipt of entries from two outside sheep exhibitors, one in the Manawatu and the other in Hawke's Bay. Outside stock exhibits seldom come to the Gisborne Show, md it is a long time since sheep from other districts have been exhibited here, in the home industries section there is a strong representation from other districts.
