GREY TABLE TENNIS CLUB ENDS SEASON

A highly successful season was brought to a close on Wednesday evening when the Grey Tennis Table Tennis Club held a yankee tournament. The winner was A. McNabb and the runner-up Miss M. Heslop. Members of the Grey club were prominent at the Greymouth championships which were held recently and won the following titles:— A grade women’s championship, Miss Heslop; B grade women’s championship, Miss P. Luey; B grade men’s championship, A. McNabb; A grade men’s doubles championships, J. Luey (with R. Harris, United); runners-up A grade women’s doubles, Misses Heslop and Luey; runner-up girls’ singles (under 18), Miss Luey. The most improved players for the season were P. Lines, V. Gilmour and A. McNabb. .•
