AUCKLAND, This Day (P.A.).— Two Russian refugees arrived from the Philippines by flying-boat, via Sydney, today. The Russians, Eugene Tripenoff and his .wife, were living in Shanghai and left with about 5000 others before the Communists took over. They were evacuated to the Philippines and were accommodated in a refugee camp. „ ‘‘There are still about 2000 in that camp, said Mr Tripenoff, who is a. commercial artist and hopes to pursue his profession here. “Most of them are the old and infirm. We tried to get visas for different countries and finally waited five months before we got a visa for New Zealand. We are very happy to be here.” ’ The Tripenoffs have relatives in New Zealand and are going to Wellington to live. 4
