Tourney At Greymouth

The Indoor Basketball season on the West Coast will conclude on Thursday evening when the leading men’s and women’s teams of the Greymouth, Hokitika, and Brunner Associations will contest the champion of champions trophies at Greymouth. The trophies, which will be competed for for the first ’time are the Premier Cup for women, and the Blackmore Cup for men. The teams to represent Greymouth are Comets and Bobcats. A special challenge match has also been arranged between Brunner representatives and a Greymouth men’s B team. The Greymouth team is as follows: — Kennedy (capt), Dargan (v-capt.), Bennett, Shields, Bradley, Stackhouse, Duffy., The draw is as follows: —7.3(r Greymouth v Brunner (women)., McKenzie, Rae. 7.55: Greymouth v Brunner (men), Moore, Walker. 8.30: A T C. v Riffs, (friendly game), Kennedy, Dargan. 8.45: Revingtons v Rovers (friendly game), Roberts, Stoop. 9-10 ; Finalist v Hokitika (women), Rae, Walker. 9.35: Finalist v Hokitika (men), Moore. 10.0: Brunner representatives v Greymouth B (men).
