CHILD KILLED AND MOTHER INJURED

AUCKLAND, This Day (P.A.)—A boy aged six months was fatally injured and his mother seriously injured when a car got out of control on Lake Road. Takapuna this morning. The driver of the car was also badly hurt. The mother is Mrs O’Callaghan, of Coronation road, Belmont. The child died in hospital at 1.20.
