The ban on West German steel exports to the Soviet zone will be lifted on March 15. The ban was imposed on February 6 after consultation with the Allies beacuse East Germany had overdrawn its credit limit under the East-West trade agreement, but the ban was also described as partly a reprisal for Russian interference with lorry traffic in and out of Berlin. — .Bonn, February 15. Austrians Cancel Demonstration The Vienna correspondent of the British United Press says that a joint demonstration of protest by both Houses of the Australian Parliament against the delay in completing the Australian peace treaty has been cancelled. It had been arranged to hold the demonstration today. No reason was given for the cancellation. —London, February 15.
