RUGBY FOOTBALL Wellington To Start A Coaching Scheme

WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.).— The Wellington Rugby Union will support any move for replacements in all matches including internationals. This was stated at a meeting of the management committee after a circular letter from the Southland Rugby Union had been considered. The initial plans for a Rugby coaching scheme in Wellington were approved at the meeting. The suggested scheme includes lectures by competent men in different phases of play, the showing of films, including those of the All Blacks’ in South Africa, and the issue of pamphlets to schools and clubs. A sub-committee was empowered to proceed with the arrangements.
