HOCKEY New Zealand Team’s Tour

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day (P.A.) —Details of the proposed itinerary of the New Zealand hockey team’s tour of Australia next year have been received from the Australian Hockey Association. It was suggested that the tour start at Gladstone, 1000 miles north of Brisbane, and the team should travel south so as to reach Adelaide for the Test match, which is set down to be played on July 29, at the conclusion of the inter-state tournament. The proposed arrangements will mean that the New Zealand team will need to leave the Dominion about the middle of June. The New Zealand Association will consider the itinerary at it’s next meeting. It is likely that the annual North v South match will be played early in June and the team announced after that game.
