FATAL BULLET WOUND

WANGANUI, Sept. 20 (P.A.).— Found today lying unconscious on the roadside at Ohutu, near Taihape, beside his car, with a bullet wound in the head, a man later died in the Wanganui Public Hospital. He was Dudley Walter Everingham, single, aged 31 years, a storeman in an oil comany depot at Taihape. It is thought that he had intended to shoot at a rabbit and that the rifle discharged accidentally.
