MASS EXECUTION OF 86 FRENCH BOYS IS ALLEGED

PARIS, August 2 (Rec. 1 p.m.).— Nine former S.S. men, who were members of Hitler’s Youth Movement Division, appeared today before a military tribunal at Lille charged with taking part in the mass execution of 86 French boys and men at Ascq, near Lille, in April, 1944. The execution was' described as a reprisal for the 1 sabotage of a railway line near Ascq station, and the prosecution said the victims were dragged from their beds and shot.
